Data Engineer

Our Data Engineers deliver quality reporting and data intelligence solutions to the organization and assist client teams in making advised data-driven decisions. Data Engineers are engaged in all phases of the data management lifecycle; gather and analyze requirements, collect, process, store and secure, archive, and repurpose data.

The ideal candidates should have a minimum of 8+ years minimum experience as a Data Engineer with Scala development experience in Spark.

Must have skills/experience

Strong SCALA expertise with the ability to differentiate using SBT (scala build tool) and maven
Strong ETL hands-on experience (Spark, Data Engineering)
Must have the ability to answer questions use case of using a DataSet vs a DataFrame.
DevOps and CI/CD pipeline knowledge - Mainly Teamcity, Selenium.
Candidate should be an expert on developing Spark applications using Java
Good Experience in executing the program using Hive and Impala
Should have working experience in using Spark data frames and data sets
